The Third Root

The FCAT 2022 programme offers six out-of-competition sections in parallel to the official sections. On the one hand, the traditional sections Afroscope, Spanish Outlooks and The Third Root, and on the other, the thematic retrospective Between the Ink and the Screen, the Atteyat al-Abnoudy focus and the Special Sessions. 

The focus of The Third Root, a section on Afro-descent in Latin America, is on the Dominican Republic.
